Bruce Thomas, M.D.

Bruce Thomas, M.D. is passionate about helping his patients not only feel healthier but also live a more quality-filled life. He made the transition into anti-aging and preventive medicine after seeing countless patients at his Spine and Rehabilitation Center suffer from health issues that were clearly preventive. He wanted to address his patient’s needs before it was too late to make a significant difference.

Dr. Thomas also serves as the acting Medical Director of Optimum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine and as the Board of Director Chairman for Loudoun Medical Group since 2005 and prior to that, Vice Chairman for three years.

Dr. Thomas has been active in fundraising for research activities related to Rett Syndrome and has been a past board member for the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation. He was also active in the merger of the two parallel foundations for the same disorder. His older of two daughters suffers from this devastating disorder, so it is close to his heart.

Dr. Thomas completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center, located in Washington D.C. and then went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Thomas’s educational background also includes Medical Acupuncture for Physicians, which he received from the University of California, Los Angeles.
